About Organization

Sustainable Development Nepal (SDN) is a platform for critical thinkers and change makers who are willing to collaborate for bringing multiple solutions to global problems.

A team of critical thinkers from diverse backgrounds have collaborated to establish Sustainable Development Nepal (SDN). SDN is a profit not distributing private limited company located at Hattiban, Lalitpur. It aims for transformation towards sustainable societies. In doing so, it aims to integrate social, environmental and economic components and contribute towards mitigating global challenges. SDN believes in inclusion of marginalized people coming from different ethnicity, gender, religion and diversity.
We believe in creating an imperishable environment for local people. Our company is first of its kind in Nepal that focuses more on localization and contextualization of sustainable goals rather than just working to attain them. We keep the aspect of sustainability at the core of our projects and make sure it is locally driven and owned by the community. The team with its continuous effort and varied expertise believes in creating a better and equitable society.

Our Story

Sustainable Development Nepal works on improving lives of people through localizing sustainable development. We value local knowledge, cosmology, ideas and practices into economic, social and environmental components by coordinating with local people and assimilating them with modern knowledge, ideas, and practices in a sustainable way.
